Energy-saving projects is a requirement of time

At the initiative of the Main Department of Economy and Industry of Kashkadarya region, a roundtable discussion was held on "Energy efficiency improvement in industrial enterprises" project – acceptable opportunities for attracting foreign investment".
It was attended by representatives of the spheres of economy and industry, employees of large enterprises, commercial banks, as well as other relevant organizations and institutions.
It should be noted that within the framework of “Energy efficiency improvement in enterprises” project, implemented by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the World Bank Group, modern equipment and devices from abroad are installed at enterprises through loans provided by the International Development Association of the World Bank and commercial banks of Uzbekistan. Reduction of inefficient consumption of electricity and natural gas is achieved.
At the event, participants were informed in detail about the procedure for issuing loans from International Bank for Reconstruction and Development through commercial banks in Uzbekistan.
