A job fair has taken place in Bukhara. It was held by the Bukhara Region’s hokimiyat (governorate) in cooperation with the regional prosecutor’s office and the region’s main directorate for labour.

A job fair has taken place in Bukhara. It was held by the Bukhara Region’s hokimiyat (governorate) in cooperation with the regional prosecutor’s office and the region’s main directorate for labour.

In this job fair, 360 enterprises, organizations and establishments took part with 3349 vacant job positions. The private sector, that is entities of entrepreneurship, accounted for more than 75 per cent of the vacant jobs offered at the job fair. This shows that small businesses are making a greater contribution to resolving issues related to employment in the region.

Participants in the fair familiarized themselves with broad information about vacant job positions at enterprises and organizations and about conditions that had been created there.

“Last year, I graduated from a vocational college and started my work life. I came to the job fair in order to find a suitable job for myself, and I was right to do so. I am glad about an offer from representatives of Bukhoro Brilliant Silk. I am sure that the speciality that I learned will help me to find my place in society,” says G.Karimova.

At the job fair, 318 people got job placement certificates. Many people were provided with consultancy about labour legislation norms.
