A seminar has taken place in Baliqchi District of Andijon Region on issues of further widening access to banking services for women and graduates of vocational colleges.

The event held by the central council of the Milliy Tiklanish Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan and the Mikrokreditbank joint stock commercial bank was attended by active members of the party, specialists of the bank, businesswomen and graduates of vocational colleges.

At the event conducted in accordance with the presidential decree dated 28 July 2010 “On additional measures to involve graduates of educational institutions in entrepreneurial activities”, it was said that special attention was being paid in the country to supporting women engaged in entrepreneurship and handicraft and to providing employment for graduates of vocational colleges.

During the seminar, its participants presented their business projects. The Mikrokreditbank joint stock commercial bank gave certificates to the authors of the best projects.

“We are thankful to the President of our state for favourable conditions created for effective labour in the chosen sphere, ” says a graduate of the Bukhoro industrial-pedagogical college, Humora Jorayeva.

There was an exhibition of products of businesswomen and craftswomen and handicrafts and national costumes made by college graduates.
