On the occasion of the 686th anniversary of Amir Temur’s birth, the presentation of the book “Empire of Amir Temur” was held at the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by Professor of the Department of International Relations and Social Sciences of the Academy, Doctor of Political Sciences Tulqin Alimardonov and Professor of the Department of the International Relations and Social Sciences, Doctor of Political Sciences Matluba Kakhorova.
It was noted that Amir Temur played a significant role in the historical formation of the Uzbek statehood. During the reign of Sahibkiran, a centralized state system was created, and Mawarannahr became the world's largest political, economic and cultural center. In particular, this monograph is devoted to the study of the socio-political and religious-cultural foundations of Amir Temur's empire.
The book tells about the essence and cultural heritage of the empire of the Turkic peoples, Sahibkiran’s views on public administration, the harmony of national and universal values, the principles of justice, the military skill of the commander and the philosophical vision of the role of a great personality in the history of mankind.
The book consists of several interesting chapters, such as “The Political Philosophy of Amir Temur”, “The Structure of Governance in the Empire of Amir Temur”, “The Political Legacy of the Empire of Amir Temur” and others.
