These data were announced during the regular briefing for international observers, representatives of domestic and foreign media at the national press centre for the elections coverage of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Chairman of the Central Election Commission, in particular, reported that the voting process at the polling stations established at representative offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Indonesia and Thailand have already been completed.

The process of voting at polling stations established at representative offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Pakistan, India, as well as in Europe and neighbouring states continues.

The elections are being held in full compliance with the democratic principles enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law on the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other laws.

At the briefing, it was emphasized that by this time the Central Election Commission did not receive any information on violations of the electoral law.

The Central Election Commission will hold its next briefing at 10 pm Tashkent time.
