An event on “Elections and Youth” was held at the Youth Center in Nukus.

It was attended by responsible employees of the councils of five political parties, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and proactive young men and women.

The event provided detailed information on the work being done to prepare and conduct high-level elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regional, district, and city Councils of people's deputies, scheduled for October 27 this year. 

The participants also discussed the role of each political party and the important tasks set before them in this process, election programs, and the rights of young people to participate in the elections.
