The qualification stage of the single kayaking competitions of the Paris Olympics has started, which was attended by athletes from Uzbekistan Ekaterina Shubina and Shakhriyor Mahkamov.

Ekaterina Shubina finished with a result of 1:58.37 in the women’s kayaking competition at a distance of 500 meters and advanced to the next stage.

In addition, Shakhriyor Mahkamov will participate in the qualification kayaking competitions at a distance of 1000 meters.
