Eighty Years of a Worthy Life

Barno Razzakova – Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics at Tashkent State Technical University, public and scientific figure, author of 100 scientific and methodical works.

She devoted more than fifty years of her life to research activities, making a significant contribution to the development of science and education in Uzbekistan thanks to her extensive knowledge and valuable work experience.

Mrs. Razzakova was born on 20 February 1941 in the city of Samarkand in the family of a party worker. In 1958, she graduated a secondary school and entered the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Samarkand State University.

“A completely new stage of life has begun”, says Barno Ablakulovna. – With such preparation and determination, as I had, a person develops himself and helps others. Therefore, I managed to combine my studies with social activities.

After the completion of the scientific work “Infinitely remote singular points of differential equations” in 1962, Barno Razzakova presented it at a scientific conference of students of Central Asian countries and Kazakhstan in the city of Frunze (now Bishkek) and was awarded a first-degree diploma.

The graduate begins her career at her home university as an assistant at the Department of Differential Equations and Geometry. Since 1965, she has been carrying out scientific and pedagogical activities at Tashkent State Technical University as a senior teacher, and since 1974 as an associate professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics at this university. In 1973 she successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis on “Equilibrium distribution of systems of ordinary differential equations”.

In 1979, Barno Razzakova was appointed head of the Mathematics Department at Tashkent Polytechnic Institute named after Abu Reikhan Beruni.

She was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal of that time, certificates of honor of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan, the Badge Excellent in Higher Education, prizes and certificates of honor from Tashkent Polytechnic Institute and Tashkent State Technical University.

In 2010, Barno Razzakova retired. She raised two wonderful children and has five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Eighty years is a solid date, especially if it is an anniversary. Eighty years of a worthy life... How much good have you done, Barno Ablakulovna! We sincerely wish you good health!
