The series of lectures delivered by professors of Helwan University, one of the leading universities in the Arab world, will cover some topics which are the potentials of Egypt as a tourist destination for mega-events, exploring Egyptian museums, sustainable tourism development, tangible and intangible heritage in Egypt, the opportunities and challenges of hospitality in Egypt, and the impact of COVID-19 on hospitality education. The aim is to provide TSUOS students with more knowledge about the tourism sector with a case study of Egypt which will be reflected in their competencies in developing the tourism sector in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that the collaboration between Helwan University and TSUOS in virtual lectures has started in October 2020 with a series of lectures about the Egyptian Economy on Modern Stage followed by other virtual lectures on Arabic Linguistics in November/December 2020.

The public speaking contest will include some topics about the Arabic Language and Egypt such as “Creative Performances in Arabic” and “Do You Know Egypt?”. It should be noted that this contest is relaunched after being stopped for 8 years at TSUOS. The winners of this contest will be awarded by the Egyptian Embassy in Uzbekistan.
