Along with this, the car fleet of the rolling stock has been renewed, as well, which speaks of the considerable technical progress made in the railway system. It has by and large been possible due to the efforts of the Tashkent factory for building and repairing passenger cars. The plant produces comfortable passenger carriages that cater to international quality standards. To date, the factory has manufactured 120 new cars and upgraded 735 such passenger carriages.

Construction of a 19 kilometer-long rail tunnel is envisaged within that project.

To date, 35.5 million cubic meters of soil works have been executed as part of this project, along with the construction of 204 artificial facilities, 11 bridges, 3 viaducts, as well as 82 kilometers of rail lines. In the main trunk of tunnel, channeling works have been performed on a stretch of 5.5 thousand meters and finishing works completed on a plot of over 1.4 thousand meters.

Intensive development of the railway system and the realization of wide-ranging projects has been helped by the state-of-the-art railroad construction machines engaged in the works. Pivotal in this kind of thorny processes are people who have been sparing no effort for the cause of their favorite occupation.
