Intestinal helminthiasis (parasitic diseases) is one of the most widespread diseases. This disease occurs when a person or animal helminth (worms) enters the body. Helminths can penetrate and settle in the liver, lungs, kidneys, intestines and the human brain, but in most cases, the worms are in the intestine. They are more common in children and adolescents. The appearance of worms in children can lead to other diseases, complications and dangerous consequences. As a result, the child’s body lags behind in development, this negatively affects the digestive system.
