Representatives of the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Education Quality under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the leadership of the Ministry of Education of Singapore.

The parties discussed the draft Intergovernmental Agreement on Cooperation in Education. The importance of this agreement for further accelerating cooperation in education and enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation in this direction was noted. 

First Deputy Head of the Inspectorate Hotamjon Ketmonov proposed to include adult education, advanced training and development of human resources in the draft agreement as additional areas of cooperation.

Information was provided on the possibility of organizing training for senior officials of government bodies responsible for education, in particular ministers and deputy ministers, in the Ministry of Education of Singapore to increase the institutional capacity of government officials working in education management in Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed to further improve the draft agreement, taking into account these proposals.
