The Ecological Party of Uzbekistan calls on everyone to listen to nature’s voice, using the slogan “Let’s unite for the sake of nature!”

The party’s election program proposes initiatives to realize people’s constitutional rights to a comfortable environment. The party is in favor of suspending construction until the approval of the general plan of districts and cities, directing a specific part of the funds allocated for the country’s road infrastructure to the creation of pedestrian corridors and bicycle paths at the expense of highways, and bringing the share of city passengers traveling by bicycle to 20 percent by 2030.

A phased introduction of a system for reducing the cost of travel for regular users of public transport in Tashkent and regional centers is also being promoted.

In maintaining a clean environment, it is important to modernize wastewater treatment facilities and build in areas with low efficiency of water discharge treatment, temporarily suspend the activities of enterprises that do not have local water treatment facilities until they introduce technologies that meet environmental requirements.
