E-system of epidemiological investigation created

On April 10, AIMC held a briefing with participation of the Director of the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhrom Almatov.
Information was provided about the current epidemiological situation.
78,906 samples have been tested for COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan laboratories.
Headquarters under the Ministry of Health has created an electronic system of epidemiological investigation of this disease, all recorded cases are included in the electronic program. The situation related to patients, from whom the infection occurred, risks of infection are studied, and all measures are implemented to prevent the spread of the disease.
Electronic program indicates patient’s passport data, place of work, and a list of persons who have been in contact with him since the beginning of the first signs of the disease. It describes activity, movement and operational measures taken to identify citizens with the possible infection.
