Dushanbe hosts an International Parliamentary Conference on “30 years to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan”.

The heads of parliaments of Central Asian countries, the Russian Federation, Iran, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Armenia attend the event.

This international conference aims to further expand and strengthen interparliamentary dialogue and cooperation. During the conference, a comparative analysis of national and international experience in implementing constitutional and legal reforms will be conducted.

In addition, it is envisaged to study international experience in promoting constitutional values ​​in society and identifying the essence of global processes in national and world constitutional development.

As part of the event, multilateral meetings of the heads of parliaments with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon were held.

At the meeting, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva noted that friendly ties between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are increasingly strengthening, and inter-parliamentary cooperation is expanding.
