The second press tour for journalists of state news agencies of the CIS countries has completed its work in Dushanbe. It was attended by representatives of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus and Russia. 

Issues of strategic partnership in development of tourism in CIS countries were discussed at the event. In particular, relevant measures for development of youth tourism, strengthening cooperation in this direction have been identified.

As it was noted at the conference, the next meeting of the Council on tourism of the CIS countries will be held in 2019 in Samarkand. This decision was made by members of the Council in accordance with the proposal of the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov. 

On the second day, participants of the international press tour visited the city of Hisor in Tajikistan, Kalai Hisor fortress built in XVI century. The guests also visited the city, named in honor of an outstanding Tajik poet Mirzo Tursunzoda.
