According to the Statistics Agency, in 2023, 5.7 million people visited museums in Uzbekistan (this is 800 less than in 2022).

Five most visited museums:

Registan Ensemble – 1 million 10 thousand 800 people; 

Samarkand State Museum-Reserve – 1 million 6 thousand 600 people; 

State Museum of Glory at the Victory Memorial Park complex – 648.5 thousand people; 

Khiva State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve “Ichan-Kala” – 448.4 thousand people; 

Bukhara State Museum-Reserve – 390.3 thousand people. 

In the first ten days of January, there were 140 museums in the country.
