The Fourth International Chess Tournament was held with the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai, International Chess Center and ZOR restaurant.

The event is aimed at providing meaningful and high-quality recreation to Uzbekistan citizens and foreign participants living in the Emirates, popularization of chess as an intellectual sport, familiarizing with the historical heritage, tourism potential, Uzbek language, culture and traditions of Uzbekistan.

The tournament was opened under the national anthem of Uzbekistan. About 100 amateur chess players from Uzbekistan, UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, India, Pakistan, Germany, France, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and African countries took part in the championships.

Following the tournament, the winners and all young chess players were awarded memorable diplomas and prizes.
