Tashkent to host Documentary Film Days

A press conference was held at Uzbekfilm concern on the eve of the event.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Tourism and Sports A. Abdukhakimov noted that Uzbekistan is open to all movie fans. Director General of Uzbekistan Cinematography Agency A. Abdukhalikov stressed that cinema is an investment in the future. Guests from Italy, France, the United States, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Armenia who arrived at Tashkent International Film Festival shared their opinions.

It was noted that within the framework of the film festival, 30 documentaries will be shown, including “My Uzbek Dream” (France), “Beruni”, “The Mighty Plane Tree of the Turks: Alisher Navoi” (Turkey), “The Last Summer of Childhood”, “Uzbekistan is dear to me” (the United States).
