Asian Judo Championships 2022 have kicked off in Kazakhstan.

According to the National Olympic Committee, Uzbekistan’s Diyora Keldiyorova, competing in the -52 kg weight category, defeated the current world champion from Japan Ai Shishime in the final and won the title of Asian champion for the second time.

Judokas Mukhriddin Tilovov (-66 kg) and Nilufar Ermagambetova (-57 kg) won bronze medals.
