A visit by a delegation from the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute to Óbuda University in Hungary served as a vivid example of the practical implementation of systemic reforms in education.

The delegation, led by Rector, Professor Alisher Usmonkulov, discussed with Hungarian colleagues issues of digital transformation, strategic planning, and monitoring the quality of education. The parties recognized high-quality education as the key criterion and considered approaches based on European standards.

Special attention was paid to the transformation of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute based on the experience of Óbuda University. Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, the position of Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Digital Management will be introduced. This step will help restructure the university’s administration to meet modern requirements.

During the visit, the activities of the faculties of information technology, artificial intelligence, engineering, and management were reviewed. Practice- and innovation-oriented education was recognized as an important factor in updating academic programs.

Following the visit, specific areas of cooperation were identified, including launching joint educational programs, exchanging faculty and students, and expanding participation in international grant and scholarship programs.
