A regular meeting of the heads of ministries and agencies responsible for information and communication technology development in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states was held in the city of Karamay, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

The meeting focused on accelerating digital transformation processes within the SCO framework and implementing advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and smart city concepts. Special attention was given to deepening cooperation in developing digital infrastructure, information security, public administration, and the digital economy.

The Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, represented the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, an Action Plan on Strengthening Cooperation in Digital Transformation among SCO member states was adopted.
