The 2nd International Forum “Dialogue of Declarations” is taking place at the International Hotel Tashkent.
The event is organized by the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (ISRS) and the American NGO Love Your Neighbor Community (LYNC), with the support of the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Hokimiyat of Samarkand region.
Participants noted that the event will contribute to strengthening mutual understanding, tolerance, and cooperation among representatives of different nations and religions.
The forum is attended by theologians, scholars of religion, experts, and representatives of international organizations from many countries.
The program includes thematic sessions and roundtable discussions.
Since 2016, similar forums have been organized in cities such as Marrakesh, Makkah, Jakarta, Potomac, Punta del Este, and Bukhara, and have established themselves as an authoritative international platform for promoting the ideas of enlightenment, religious freedom, and a culture of tolerance.
Following the forum, a final Appeal to the international community will be adopted, calling for the protection of the rights of religious minorities, the elimination of discrimination on religious grounds, the development of religious education as a means of countering violent extremism, the affirmation of freedom of religion as a universal human right, and the encouragement of equality for all people regardless of their religious and cultural differences.
