The central council of the Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the party’s faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) has held a session devoted to party organizations’ and deputies’ tasks arising from the presidential decree “On preparations for and celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The central council of the Adolat Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and the party’s faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis (parliament) has held a session devoted to party organizations’ and deputies’ tasks arising from the presidential decree “On preparations for and celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The chairman of the party’s political council, N.Umarov; the chairman of the Legislative Chamber’s Committee for budget and economic reforms, A.Shodmonov; and others noted the high results of large-scale reforms being conducted under the leadership of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

The party intends to conduct a number of events under the slogan of “My life, my destiny – my native unique Uzbekistan”, specifically together with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education a contest of essays among students “the homeland’s future is in your hands”, a photo exhibition of the Adolat Social Democratic Party devoted to the 25th anniversary of independence, moral enlightenment events in children’s holiday camps, a round table conference on the subject of “Women of independence yesterday and today”, various contests and sports competitions. During these events, light will be shed on the essence of the state policy being implemented with goal of brining up young people to develop healthy and well in every respect.

It was noted that there was a need to form central and regional party commissions for preparations for and celebrations of the holiday, to strengthen partnership with nongovernmental and non-commercial organizations in localities in arranging such events and encouraging and supporting creative groups.
