Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center Eldor Tulyakov met with the heads of Türkiye’s think tanks – President of the Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM) Mehmet Seyfettin Erol, President of the Institute for Strategic Thinking (SDE) Güray Alpar, President of the Center for Strategic Research “Sahibkiran” Mesut Emre Karaköse.

According to the Center, Mr. Tulyakov acquainted Turkish partners with the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan and the results achieved, provided information on the nationwide referendum held on April 30 and the Uzbekistan Presidential Election, which took place on July 9.

The parties noted that in recent years, thanks to the political will of the heads of the two states, strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Türkiye has been dynamically developing. This is manifested in politics, security and defense, trade and economics, investment, tourism, energy, transport, agriculture and forestry, education, science and technology, and healthcare.

Views were exchanged on further expansion of joint projects, events, and research work in mutually beneficial sectors, launched as part of the memorandums of cooperation signed in 2021.
