Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aziz Kudratov met with the Minister of Planning and Investment of this country Nguyen Chi Dung during his visit to Vietnam. The parties focused on the development of investment cooperation.

In particular, the implementation of several joint projects for the production of food and soft drinks, prospects for the introduction of new project initiatives were discussed at the meeting. The production of electric power, chemical, textile, electrical and construction products were considered.

To prepare a program of industrial cooperation between the two countries, an agreement was reached on the establishment of a joint working group. During the talks, the parties noted the importance of further expanding the regulatory framework in investments and taxes between Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

Following the meeting, the participants expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation on the reached agreements.
