Representatives of the Chinese company Agricultural and Sideline Products visited several districts of Bukhara region.

They were shown projects for developing fish farming and aquaculture, intensive cultivation of fish and shrimp based on Chinese experience, production of feed and medicine for them, organization of fish markets, and ecotourism in the regions.

Among them is a project to create a fish farming school in Bukhara region, the possibilities of which were examined using the example of the Uktam Ibrohim Tukli farm. Here, the Deputy Hokim of the region, Amrillo Nazarov, informed the Chinese guests about the region’s opportunities in fish farming and the benefits created for investors. Issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed.

Attention was focused, in particular, on the cultivation of shrimp, pike, and pike perch, as well as tourism development.

Investors also met with the Hokim of the region Botir Zaripov, who presented investment opportunities in the region and called for partnership in fish farming.
