A Memorandum for Development of Domestic and Pilgrimage Tourism has been signed between Jizzakh and Navoi regions.

Based on the agreement, Jizzakh and Navoi regional hokimiyats will implement a number of joint long-term plans and projects to strengthen bilateral relations in tourism, develop domestic and pilgrimage tourism, improve tourism infrastructure, create facilities for cultural recreation of the population and support entrepreneurs operating in this direction.

For this purpose, the parties agreed to work together within the framework of “Travel to Uzbekistan” program for organizing excursions and trips for young people, residents of mahallas and labor collectives on eco-and agritourism, cultural heritage and pilgrimage tourism of both regions.

Special attention was paid to the promotion of tourism opportunities of the regions in media, web pages and social networks.
