Tashkent hosted the Destination Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the German Tourism Association.

The Minister of Culture and Tourism Ozodbek Nazarbekov and President of the German Tourism Association Norbert Fiebig emphasized that this event is essential in strengthening tourism relations between the two countries and cooperation between their leading tour operators and travel agencies.

B2B meetings were held with the participation of German and Uzbek entrepreneurs in tourism, as well as presentations aimed at presenting Uzbekistan as a priority tourist destination for Europeans.

Issues of expanding tourism programs, developing new tourist routes of interest to tourists from Germany, enhancing cooperation with German tour operators, and concluding agreements between travel companies were considered.
