Desert Ships
Camels, called ships of the desert, are still highly valued today as close companions of people and a source of income. Notably, these animals adapted for life in arid regions can carry loads weighing 300-400 kilograms. Their milk has healing properties.
This is also mentioned in the work of Abu Ali ibn Sina “The Canon of Medical Science”. Camel milk treats many diseases, such as tuberculosis, gastrointestinal tract diseases, and diabetes mellitus. The fur of animals is usually cut in the spring. Thick and long fur protects camel from the summer heat and winter cold. Camel wool products are widely popular because they retain body heat and have medicinal properties.
Having visited the villages of Tomdi district of Navoi region, you will meet a caravan of camels. Because most of the local population is engaged in breeding these animals. When we saw camels, we captured them on camera.
