Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjayev received the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Yousef Al Otaiba.

According to the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the current state and prospects for the development of Uzbekistan – Saudi Arabia interaction, cooperation within international organizations, as well as preparations for several bilateral events soon were discussed during the talks.

The parties highly appreciated the intensification of the multidisciplinary dialogue between the two countries in recent years, and in particular, the dynamic expansion of partnership in the investment, energy and trade-economic spheres.

Measures to prepare for the bilateral events planned for the near future aimed at intensifying interaction between the business and government circles of the two countries were considered in detail.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close contact to accelerate the promotion of joint projects and initiatives, as well as monitor the implementation of existing agreements.
