Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has received the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Huseyn Guliyev.

According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties discussed the current agenda of cooperation, the prospects for its expansion, as well as the implementation of the previously reached agreements.

Priority areas for building up investment cooperation have been identified.

Ways to increase the trade turnover were discussed. It was noted that the economies of the two countries have all the prerequisites for a further increase in annual trade volumes up to $500 million in the near future.

The parties also focused on the prospects for deepening cooperation in the transport and logistics sector.

Following the talks, the parties expressed their commitment to active interaction in the implementation and promotion of previously reached agreements, as well as enhancing the agenda of partnership.
