Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov received Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ibrahim Dzhunusov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan.

According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for further deepening the multifaceted cooperation, and outlined further actions to promote joint projects and initiatives.

The parties also discussed interaction in the investment and industrial cooperation. Further actions were outlined to develop promising projects and promote them, including through the resources of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz Development Fund created in 2021.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their commitment to the high-quality and timely implementation of the existing agreements. The Uzbek side expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for personal assistance in enhancing and deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and voiced wishes for success in future activities.
