Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has held virtual talks with the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia Khalid Al-Falih.

The parties discussed the current issues of investment and trade-economic cooperation, as well as the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the Saudi delegation to Uzbekistan in January this year.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, during the talks, the development and implementation of joint projects in trade, tourism, energy and chemical industry were considered.

The foreign side emphasized the interest of such Saudi companies as Sabic Corporation, Saudi Aramco, National Technology Group, Maaden, Sira, Jamjoom Pharma and others in investing in Uzbekistan.
