Virtual talks have been held between the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov and the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Reshetnikov with participation of the heads of key ministries and agencies of the two countries.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, within the framework of negotiations, the progress of implementation of the agreements reached following the 21st meeting of Uzbekistan – Russia Intergovernmental Commission, as well as prospects for enhancing bilateral partnership in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres and in industrial cooperation were discussed.

The reports of bilateral working groups on the results of the elaboration of certain areas of cooperation were heard, the current issues were considered and mutually beneficial solutions were developed.

Through relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries, views were exchanged on a number of issues of mutual interest and algorithms for further interaction were determined.
