Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan meets with the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev, in Bishkek.
The parties discussed the current issues of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of previously reached agreements in trade, economic and investment spheres. They noted the need for further intensifying cooperation to increase mutual trade and bring the volume of trade up to $2 billion.
The parties also exchanged views on the current situation in the world, the international and regional agenda, discussed issues of the upcoming high-level foreign policy events, as well as holding a Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Kyrgyzstan and the upcoming Central Asia – OSCE High-Level Conference in Bishkek.
