Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan meets with heads of delegations of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Turkey

The Annual Meetings of the Board of Governors of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), held in Tashkent, is not only a large-scale event that brings together representatives of 57 member countries of the Bank, but also a platform for holding bilateral and multilateral negotiations and discussing important issues of cooperation between various countries.

According to Uzbekistan MIFT, during the third day of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with the Minister of Finance and National Economy of Bahrain Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance of Saudi Arabia Mohammed Al Jadaan and the Minister of Treasury and Finance of Turkey Lütfi Elvan.

The parties considered the current state of investment, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, the implementation of existing agreements, as well as the prospects for the implementation of new projects in priority sectors. Further steps have been outlined to deepen interaction and promote joint initiatives.
