Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the German State Secretary and Special Envoy for International Climate Action at the Federal Foreign Office, Jennifer Lee Morgan.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties discussed current issues and priority areas for further developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany, primarily in ecology and the fight against climate change.

Special attention was paid to strengthening dialogue in alternative energy, digitalization of agriculture and water resource management, environmental education, and combating the negative consequences of climate change, including through the exchange of experience and technologies.

Views were exchanged on the continuation of close cooperation within the framework of multilateral structures and the schedule of the upcoming joint events.
