Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan Manuchehr Sharifzoda arrived in Uzbekistan to develop cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan and enhance international cultural ties.

The guest got acquainted with higher education institutions of the ministry system, including the State Institute of Arts and Culture of Uzbekistan, the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Institute of National Variety Art named after Batyr Zakirov.

Mr. Manuchehr Sharifzoda also got acquainted with the activities of the Uzbek National Institute of Musical Art named after Yunus Rajabi.

The parties discussed issues of allocating admission quotas for citizens of Tajikistan for study at education institutions in the culture and art of Uzbekistan in the 2023/2024 academic year.
