Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Akhmedov met with Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Sultan Raev.

The parties considered issues of further strengthening relations, development of tourism, organization of foreign tours of bakhshi and akyns. The permanent participation of TURKSOY in international events, forums and festivals was agreed upon. 

The parties also exchanged views on the preparations for the 30th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture, which is planned to be held in June 2023 in Uzbekistan.
