At the meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan held yesterday, representatives of all party factions noted the need for preparing for the economic cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

According to the lower house of Parliament, deputies noted that the receipt of the observer status in the EAEU on December 11 by Uzbekistan provides a unique opportunity to deeply analyze the positive and negative aspects of membership in the organization, study its impact on the national economy, prepare amendments and additions to the national legislation.

Members of the Legislative Chamber emphasized that cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EAEU will serve to increase foreign trade turnover, the competitiveness of economic sectors and strengthen the protection of the rights of our compatriots working abroad.
