The Development Strategy Center and USAID Legal Reform Program organized a workshop on gender approaches in law enforcement and budgeting.

The participants analyzed legislative norms and changes regarding gender equality, as well as ongoing reforms in the sphere, international experience and practice.

USAID Legal Reform Program experts conducted workshops for deputies on the relevance of gender education and the organization of work with a gender approach.

Problems arising from non-observance of gender equality in the implementation and observance of legislation, circumstances and reasons that lead to them were revealed in an interactive form. The participants discussed the tasks facing the deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis in eliminating these problems.

Several suggestions, opinions and judgments were expressed on the empowerment of women based on international experience.
