Delhi to host Uzbekistan – India inter-MFA political consultations

Today, May 11, Delhi will host the 15th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and India.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the country’s delegation will be led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Furkat Sidikov.

The agenda of the event includes current issues of further strengthening the friendship and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India, enhancing multifaceted cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, and other fields.

The main attention will be paid to ensuring the implementation of previously reached agreements at the highest level, as well as promoting practical cooperation in trade, industrial cooperation, green development, innovation and digital technologies, transport and logistics, cultural and humanitarian exchange.

It is planned to discuss prospects for the development of interregional connectivity.

The parties will exchange views on the international and regional agenda.
