On May 25, Delhi will host the Forum of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and India. The event is organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in India in cooperation with the MD House.
The delegations from leading universities and institutes of the two countries will attend the forum. Prospects for bilateral cooperation in education will be discussed, and several memoranda of understanding will be signed during the event.
In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the interest of Indian youth in education in Uzbekistan. Consistent reforms in the educational system, compliance of curricula with international standards, and favorable conditions for international students contribute to this. The English language education, comfortable living conditions, and security are among them.
Special attention will be paid to cooperation with Indian companies specializing in the organization of students’ education abroad.
Higher education is becoming an important area of cooperation between Uzbekistan and India. Today, almost 10,000 students from India are studying at universities in Uzbekistan, and this number continues to grow.
The Delhi Forum is intended to become a significant platform for strengthening ties between educational institutions of the two countries and expanding opportunities for academic mobility.
