On the eve of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Delhi hosts Uzbekistan – India business forum.
The delegation of Uzbekistan includes about 200 heads of ministries and agencies, large organizations and business circles of the country. Following the business forum, it is planned to sign a number of contracts in key sectors of the economy. It is also envisaged to establish Uzbekistan - India Business Council, which will become an effective platform for direct interaction and cooperation between business circles of the two countries.
Made in Uzbekistan exhibition will be organized within the framework of the forum.
It should be noted that these days Delhi hosts events in cultural-humanitarian and academic spheres, investment presentations and business forums.
In particular, the joint exhibition “India – Uzbekistan: Dialogue of Cultures” has been opened in the National Museum of India and will continue for a month. Uzbek Culture Days, Uzbek Films Days also took place in Delhi, Noida and other cities. Roundtable discussions were held with participation of Uzbekistan delegation, including senators, representatives of Development Strategy Center, and research institutes of Uzbekistan, in India’s three leading research centers.
