The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Presidium of NCE "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev, Chairman of the Board of NCE Ablay Myrzakhmetov, representatives of "Atameken", government agencies and business community, as well as representatives of international organizations and the Chambers of foreign countries.

At the Congress, reports on the results of activities of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, issues on expiration of transition period of NCE, extension of the term of office of the Board members and others were considered.

Within the framework of the Congress, a meeting of the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Utkir Butayev with the Chairman of the Board of NCE Ablay Myrzakhmetov was held. Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan conveyed sincere congratulations on behalf of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan A.Ikramov addressed to the Chairman of the Board of NCE and all the delegates of the Congress.

A meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce of Kazakhstan Ayan Erenov and the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Utkir Butayev was also held. The sides discussed issues of development of relations, current problems of entrepreneurs and business communities of both countries, as well as holding the second meeting of “Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan" Business Council in the second half of 2018. The sides noted positive results of Kazakhstan – Uzbekistan business forum, held in Shimkent on May 22, 2018. This event contributed to activation of relations among representatives of business of both countries, intensification of trade and economic relations and increasing cross-border trade between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

On June 22, the delegation of Uzbekistan participated at the briefing at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan on "Protection of entrepreneurs’ rights in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, prospects of development of cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries" within the framework of the visit of the Commissioner for protection of rights and interests of entrepreneurs under the President of Uzbekistan Dilmurod Kasimov to Kazakhstan.

On the same day, the delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Deputy Chairman of the CCI of Uzbekistan visited the Central office of NCE "Atameken" to become familiar with structure and organizational activities of NCE.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken" of Kazakhstan Rustam Jursunov informed about history and mission of the NCE, organizational structure, committees and affiliated organizations. Moreover, representative of NCE provided full information on relationship of the organization with government agencies and ministries, on coordination of activities of territorial offices of NCE in 17 regions and remote areas of the republic, on priority areas of foreign economic activity.

At the same time, R.Jursunov provided full information about the system of payment of mandatory membership fees and privileges of membership in NCE "Atameken".
