The delegation of the Development Strategy Center is on a working visit to Turkey.

Members of the delegation, led by the Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center, Eldor Tulyakov, met with the General Coordinator of SETA Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research, Burhanettin Duran.

Mr. Burhanettin Duran noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey have been dynamically developing lately. He highly appreciated the positive changes taking place in Uzbekistan as a result of the reforms and noted that the international initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan at the regional and global levels serve the sustainable development of Central Asia.

Mr. Burhanettin Duran also recognized the importance of leading research centers to analyze the effectiveness of mutual economic, transport and infrastructure projects in Central Asia and adjacent regions, their impact on regional security and stability. The Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research has expressed interest in establishing active scientific and practical cooperation and implementing joint projects with the Development Strategy Center.

According to the Development Strategy Center, issues of further enhancing cooperation between the leading research centers of Uzbekistan and Turkey, implementation of joint scientific and practical projects were discussed at the meeting.
