A delegation led by the Hokim of Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzayev, is on a working visit to the city of Kazan, Russian Federation.

At the invitation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, Mr. Mirzayev took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition of the halal industry “Russia Halal Expo”.

During the visit, members of the delegation got acquainted with the activities of EIDOS Medicine, which produces surgical simulators.

A preliminary agreement was reached to open a branch of this enterprise in Tashkent region. Guests from Uzbekistan participated in the 15th international economic forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum”, held in Tatarstan, visited production facilities and state-owned enterprises, and had productive negotiations with local businessmen.

In particular, the head of Tashkent region, in a conversation with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan, Aleksandr Shadrikov, agreed to exchange experience in solving environmental problems, particularly cooperation in waste recycling. During the dialogue, the head of the region touched upon the work being done in solid waste processing.

The next destination of the delegation was the Nefis perfume production plant. The company was founded in 1855 and now employs more than 12 thousand workers. During the meeting, negotiations were held on establishing the production of perfume products in Uzbekistan. According to the agreement reached, the next stage of the talks will take place in Tashkent region.

The delegation of Tashkent region, led by Zoyir Mirzayev, got acquainted with the Nefis company's production line and warehouse network.
