A delegation led by the Hokim of Navoi region Normat Tursunov is on a working visit to the Republic of Türkiye.

On the first day of the visit, talks were held with representatives of Sarıkoç Holding. At the meeting, a presentation was made on the investment and tourism potential, natural resources of Navoi region.

The issue of establishing trade, economic and investment cooperation, holding an Uzbekistan – Türkiye Business Forum in the city of Navoi by the end of this year was discussed.

In addition, Sarıkoç Holding approved a project for the extraction and processing of granular phosphorite in Kanimekh district, and implementing investment projects in the textile industry.

The delegation members also held talks with representatives of such companies as Orbak Metal Industry, Lidya Granit Mermer, KNDF Group, TIW Company.

An agreement was reached with Orbak Metal Industry on the production of hydrogen peroxide in the city of Navoi, with Lidya Granit Mermer on the extraction and processing of marble and granite, with KNDF Group on the implementation of projects in tourism, with TIW Company on the construction of affordable housing in rural areas.

Navoi entrepreneurs also got acquainted with the conditions created for investors in the Istanbul Industry and Trade Free Zone, examined land plots, buildings and closed structures, public and private warehouses, offices, open joint stock sites.
