A delegation from Fergana region, consisting of representatives of the education sector, is on a working visit to Japan to get acquainted with the best achievements of the educational process in this country.
The delegation includes specialists from the regional department of public education, the center for retraining and advanced training of public education workers, representatives of the higher education system.
Deputy Hokim of the region, Fayzullo Kasimov met with the Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Taro Honda.

The parties noted with satisfaction that direct cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and Japan is currently actively developing. During the visit, the regional delegation will hold bilateral talks in Tokyo, Takasaki, Osaka and Maizuru.
Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan also noted the importance of establishing direct ties between the regions of the two countries and expressed readiness to provide practical assistance in establishing them between Fergana and Osaka.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain mutually beneficial relations in all spheres.
